The Association of Volunteer Professionals (AVP) is a grassroots organization in the Permian Basin whose members meet together bi-monthly to network and share resources at a brown bag lunch meeting where members enjoy an informative speaker who discusses a topic relative to volunteer management. It is the ultimate form of nurturing and support for this most noble profession. AVP is committed to providing volunteer administrators with timely, educational and trend watching programs that affect all nonprofit and volunteer-based organizations.

The Volunteer Leadership Certification Program offers information to empower individuals who work with volunteers. These workshops qualify for continuing education units. Workshop dates are included on the Calendar of Events page.  

AVP membership is an investment in your organizaitons most important resources - your staff, board, and volunteers. Membership has its priviges. With your paid annual dues, attendance to the workshops are free of charge, other advantages include an informative monthly e-newsletter, a membership directory and access to valuable resources on the AVP website.
