The purpose of the Association of Volunteer Professionals (AVP) is to promote professional development, encouraging volunteerism and advancing the creative use of resources in the Permian Basin.
AVP is committed to providing volunteer administrators with timely, educational and trend watching issues that affect all nonprofit and volunteer-based organizations. Volunteer Leadership 2009 is the certificate program which will be offered to AVP members for the 2009 calendar year. Whether you are new to the profession or a veteran volunteer administrator, you will find that these workshops are packed with information and an excellent networking opportunity to dialogue on volunteer issues with volunteer professionals.
Whether it is becoming credentialed, legal issues, or the “how to” of developing a successful volunteer organization, you will find a world of resourceful colleagues who share with you the same concerns and expectations.
